Winter at Banks Road: Harvest Update & What to Drink Now

We’re well into harvest now, with only the Shiraz left to come off the vine.

It’s been a lighter year in terms of yield, but the quality is excellent. Smaller volumes, more concentration – exactly the kind of season that produces wines with real character.

The early Pinot Noir is already looking promising. Tight, expressive, and shaping up to be one of those standout releases we get excited about.

What that means for you

Smaller harvests don’t hang around.

If you’ve got favourites, winter is the time to have them on hand, before the shift into the next release cycle.

What to reach for right now

Pinot Noir
Already showing good structure and depth. An easy winter go-to that still feels refined.

Shiraz
The last of the fruit still on the vine. Expect a strong vintage – worth keeping an eye on.

Chardonnay
Consistent, balanced, and right at home on the table through the cooler months.
